A man has appeared in court today after a woman was found stabbed to death in a Sheffield street. Erham Mehmedov, 44, is alleged to have stabbed Dimitrina Borisova in Blackstock Road in the Gleadless Valley area of the city.
Mehmedov appeared at Sheffield magistrates court and was remanded in custody. His case was transferred to Sheffield Crown Court for a hearing on Friday. Police are continuing to question a woman in her seventies in connection with the investigation.
