Thousands turn out for Wakefield food festival
Wakefield’s Food, Drink and Rhubarb Festival saw 120,000 visitors during the three day event. Visitors were entertained by street performers, cooking demonstrations and live music as well as being tempted by local businesses offering products to sample and buy.

The Council’s Facebook and Twitter sites have been filled with messages from visitors along with pictures and messages of thanks from local businesses involved in the event.
