South Yorkshire gets £18m for bus scheme

South Yorkshire will benefit from have been awarded an £18.3 grant from Government funding to further improve bus services and information across Sheffield.

Following the recently-launched Sheffield Bus Partnership, Transport Minister Norman Baker today announced the Department for Transport has granted the money.

The funding will be spent on improvements to infrastructure used by routes in the city centre, such as Gleadless, Meadowhead, Heeley Bottom, Parkway and in north Sheffield.
