The famous Leeds Kirkgate Market which is Europe's largest indoor market is to have an ambitious make over. Plans for the 12 million pound investment over the next 3 years, will go before the city council next week.
The money will be spent on re-roofing the buildings as well as modernising the entire shopping area. While it is hoped the changes will attract more shoppers to the site, traders have cautiously welcomed them.
