Police renew appeal for missing pensioner

Police and health staff are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 68-year-old woman who has gone missing from a Sheffield hospital. Pamela Bailey was last seen at 6.15pm on Saturday Mach 23 at Northern General Hospital.

Pamela of Stowe Avenue, MIllhouses, likes walking and staff have concerns for her safety given the severe weather over the last week.Pamela is described as white, slim and around 5' 7" tall with grey hair. She was last seenwearing a green blouse, dark trousers and navy blue anorak.

"We know Pamela enjoys walking in the countryside and her favourite walks are in the Peak District particularly around Stan Edge and the Longshaw estate on the outskirts of Sheffield.

If you are out walking over the Easter weekend please report any sighings of Pamela to us as soon as possible."

Anyone with information about Pamela’s whereabouts is urged to call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 1066 of Saturday 23 March.
