DJs set to create world record for marathon show

Mark Kelly, Sine FM

Two radio DJs in Doncaster are set to break a world record - if they can stay awake. Mark Kelly and Simon Saynor will hopefully finish their 80 hour show later today.

In 2011 the pair made radio history, after a 72 hour radio show with their station, Sine FM. But then a German station sneaked ahead by 1 hour. Now the duo want their record back!

They are set to end their 80 hour show at 4pm today, raising money for the Higher Rhythm Foundation and Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice
