Council to discuss calls for NHS boss suspension

There could be more pressure on the Medical Director of the NHS in England to be suspended after haulting heart surgery at the LGI.

Sir Bruce Keogh ordered operations were stopped over fears about death rates. Campaigners insisted the figures were wrong. Today North East Lincolnshire Council will discuss whether they want him to step down.
