International Film Festival showcases talent in Bradford

Tom Vincent & Neil Young, co-directors, at the launch of the 19th Bradford International Film Festival at the National Media Museum.

The 19th annual International Film Festival has got underway in Bradford, showcasing the best of new and upcoming talent from around the world.

Launched at the National Media Museum, the event runs until April the 21st and includes 31 UK feature film premieres and 25 short films. It opens tonight with The Look of Love starring Steve Coogan.

There'll also be a celebration of Indian cinema and a lifetime achievement award for the Hull-born actor Sir Tom Courtenay.
