The Police and Crime Commissioner Alan Hardwick, and the Chief Constable of Lincolnshire Police Neil Rhodes, will be seen together in public for the first time this afternoon, since Mr Rhodes' returned to work following his quashed suspension.
A High Court judge overturned a ruling made by the PCC to suspend Mr Rhodes over potential conduct matters last month, meaning the Chief Constable is now back behind his desk at Nettleham Police HQ. An independent investigation into the matter is still ongoing.
The pair will be out in public together in Saxilby near Lincoln today, to talk about the force's quarterly performance update. Inevitable questions are expected to be asked though about their future working relationship.
