Plans are underway to build a new IKEA store in Sheffield.

The Swedish home furnishings company today announced plans to expand at a large site on Sheffield Road, creating 400 jobs.

A former derelict industrial site will be transformed into a full 37,000 square metre store.

The local community are invited to share their views on the proposals, which will be showcased at a public exhibition held at the Millenium Galleries in the city centre tomorrow from 10am.
