Candles will be lit in the town's South Bay as part of an all-faith tribute to the teenager, which has been organised by the Rev Samantha Foster. The event takes place at 8pm.
A 16-year-old has been charged with murder and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Tuesday.
