Bookmakers' staff threatened with knife

The search is on for two men who threatened staff at a bookmakers in Halifax with a knife.

At 8.20pm on Tuesday 19 March the men entered the shop on Clare Road and demanded cash.

The men stole hundreds of pounds from the till and left the shop in the direction of Prescott Street.

The suspects are described as wearing balaclavas. One of the men is described as Asian, 5 feet 7 inches tall, of a stocky build, wearing a dark blue coloured hooded top and carrying a knife.

The second man is described as white, over 6 feet tall, of a skinny build and wearing a hooded jacket.
