Full report: road safety campaign after Bradford grandmother dies

There are growing calls for new road safety measures to be installed outside a school in Bradford after the death of a 51-year-old grandmother.

Mary Byrne died moments after stepping from a taxi outside her home in Mandale Road.

Three people have been bailed by police as inqiries into her death continue.

Meanwhile parents at the school - which is attended by Mary's granddaughter - say speed restrictions must be put in place on the road before someone else dies.

Grandmother fatal crash

A grandmother was killed in Bradford as she paid her taxi fare. Mary Byrne, who was 51, died on Saturday when her taxi and a BMW were involved in a collision.
