Royal visitor for Lincolnshire Show

There's to be a Royal visitor to this year's Lincolnshire Show. The Countess of Wessex will be guest of honour at the event on June 20th.

In recent years, The Countess has become involved in the world of agriculture, as Show President of the Royal Bath and West Show in 2010 before becoming Vice Patron in 2011. Her Royal Highness is also Patron of the Association of Show and Agricultural Organisations (ASAO).

Jayne Southall Director of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society said they were delighted to announce the Countess's visit.

"Her presence will be a great privilege for the show and the county of Lincolnshire," she said.

The Lincolnshire Show will take place over two days on Wednesday 19th June and Thursday 20th June. Now in its129th year the Lincolnshire Show is one of the UK’s most prestigious county events.
