Childhood obesity "above average" in Lincolnshire

The annual report for public health in Lincolnshire has revealed that childhood obesity in the county is now above the national average. The report shows that more than a quarter of children in Lincolnshire aged between 4 and 5, are now classed as overweight or obese.

The problem is also slightly more prevalent in boys than girls. The joint Director of Public Health, Doctor Tony Hill, who wrote the report, says they're working with parents and schools to try to address the issue.
