Trio jailed for 19 years over Dewsbury meth lab

Three men who set up the largest lab ever seen in West Yorkshire for a type of Class A drug have been jailed for a combined 19 years and four months. 31-year-old Jabbar Hyder, 21-year-old Thomas Cadden and 29-year-old Christian Allday set up a multi million pound Methylamphetamine lab in Dewsbury.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Jeffrey of Kirklees Police, said: "I welcome the strong convictions given to these individuals and want to praise the work of specialist officers from Kirklees and elsewhere in the Force who worked to unmask this drugs conspiracy and put these individuals behind bars.

"I also hope this case will serve as a warning that West Yorkshire Police are vigilant to crimes of this type and will investigate any form of intelligence about drugs production in our communities."
