Police have released an e-fit and CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a series of serious offences in Bradford. Last month a 56-year-old man was assaulted at flats on Walmer Villas in Manningham near the city centre.
The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, of large build with a dark beard. He was wearing traditional Muslim clothing. Police believe this attack may also be connected to a robbery in January on Carlisle Place also in Manningham.
A man matching the same description forced his way into the home of an 80-year-old man as he was opening the front door. The pensioner was assaulted and the suspect left the house with property before locking the victim in his own house.
"These were despicable acts on vulnerable members of the community. Thankfully neither of the victims were badly hurt, however, both men were left extremely shocked and traumatised by the ordeal."
There is a possibility these two assaults were linked to three others which took place last year."
