Sheffield's Kell Brook will return to action with a rematch against the dangerous American Carson Jones on July the 13th in Hull.
The unbeaten welterweight should have been fighting Devon Alexander for the IBF world title in the US this weekend, but had to pull out with an ankle injury.
Instead he now faces a a difficult fight against Jones, who ran him close in a brutal battle in Sheffield last summer. But another victory would leave him well placed to secure another world title fight - possibly in December.
Also on the same bill at Hull KR's Craven Park is Olympic Gold Medallist Luke Campbell's eagerly awaited professional debut, while Hull lightweight Tommy Coyle clashes with Derry Mathews for the Commonwealth title.
“This is going to be a special night for Hull and a massive night for British boxing,” said promoter Eddie Hearn.
Tickets go on sale on Monday.
