There is growing opposition to the planned High Speed Rail link in our region. Bradford Council has become the second in our region - after Wakefield - to criticise the plans.
They say the thirty five billion pounds it will cost to build, would be better spent on making improvements to local transport links. They also fear that cities with high-speed stations, like Sheffield and Leeds will prosper, while others are left behind.
