About 200 members of the East Anglian patriots and the EDL have turned out in protest over plans for a mosque in Lincoln. It has so far been relatively peaceful but there is a heavy police presence in the city with officers guarding roads around the town.
The protest has not seemed to have put visitors off, with shopkeepers reporting it has been business as normal.
