Organisers of the 129th Lincolnshire Show say they're hoping this year will be bigger and better than ever, especially to support local farmers who've faced extremely challenging circumstances over the last few months.

The Countess of Wessex visits the second day of the Lincolnshire Show

The Countess of Wessex, has been mingling with the crowds at the Lincolnshire Show today, as organisers say attendance figues appear to be as good if not better than usual.

Her Royal Highness arrived by helicopter this morning, and has been shown the livestock at the show as well as the horses. The Countess has also been amongst the crowds as she was escorted around. It's the first Royal visit since Princess Anne came to the show in 2008.
