The organisers of this year's wonderfully wacky Handmade Parade in Hebden Bridge are promising it will be the biggest and best yet. More than 750 people will take part in the colourful parade, featuring giant puppets, crazy costumes and mind-blowing artwork.
The parade begins at noon and will wind its way through the town and onto Calder Holmes Park where there will be a fun-filled finale and music from parade bands. Thousands are expected to line the streets and spectators are being asked to spread out along the route.
Last year's parade had to be postponed for a week due to the floods. Organisers are hoping the good weather will hold out for this year's event but say that the show will go on, regardless.
