A new mobile fingerprint device is being rolled out across West Yorkshire. The Mobile ID BlueCheck gadget will allow police officers to take fingerprints at the roadside, allowing them to confirm a person's identity within minutes.
Officers say it will help them catch criminals who are using false identities. It will also allow them to identify unconscious people and notify relatives more quickly.

Criminals can also forget the idea of providing false details because this equipment will identify them"
