MPs are discussing a proposal to name a bank holiday after the late Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
A private members bill, put forward by Wellingborough MP Peter Bone is getting its second reading today.
If passed, it would see the August Bank Holiday Monday being renamed as Margaret Thatcher Day, in tribute to the Iron Lady who grew up as a grocer's daughter in Grantham. Calendar has spoken to Helen Goral at Grantham Museum.
