Mick Wroe is the father of 18 year old Private Thomas Wroe from Meltham near Huddersfield, who was shot dead by a rogue Afghan policeman last September.
Mr Wroe was among thousands of people who had gathered to support the parade by the 3rd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment through Huddersfield. Thomas was a member of the battalion.
