Exercise programme to help breast cancer patients

A new programme is to start in Lincolnshire which will use exercise and relaxation to help breast cancer patients recover after having surgery. Volunteers have raised the cash which will help women to regain strength in their shoulders, chest, back and abdominal muscles.

"The programme can help both physically and emotionally as it is personalised for each woman and allows them to interact with others who are going through the similar experiences."

– Kate Hughes, Macmillan Breast Cancer Nurse Specialist
  • Qualified trainer, Jess Coveley, will run the free classes at David Lloyd gym in Burton Waters. Classes will start officially from Monday 2 September.
