A teenager is seriously ill in hospital tonight after being attacked by a dog which dragged him down some stairs and repeatedly bit into his throat.
Police marksmen had to kill the animal so they could reach the 13 year old boy at the house in Bradford. A man who tried to rescue him said he thought the dog wasn't going to stop until the boy was dead.
Now officers are investigating whether anyone can be charged in connection with the attack.
