Crowds gathered to watch passengers being helped off a pleasure cruiser which ran aground at Scarborough

Pleasure cruiser rescue

Families and holidaymakers had to be rescued from a pleasure cruiser when it ran aground at Scarborough. Crowds gathered on the beach as the 95 passengers on the Coronia were helped off the vessel by lifeboat crews. No-one was hurt and the cruiser is now back afloat.
