Man who died after gang attack in Leeds named

A 57-year-old man from Leeds who died after being attacked at home by a gang has been named.

Sidney Cox died in hospital on Sunday following the attack in Thorpe day before.

A 37-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been charged with money laundering.

A 51-year-old man from Thorpe was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice, along with a 50-year-old woman on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice. Both are in custody.

A 50-year-old man and two 16-year-old boys arrested on suspicion of murder have been bailed.

A 30-year-old man remains in custody.

West Yorkshire Police said reports were received at 7.23pm on Saturday, which said a man had been seriously assaulted by a number of men who arrived in a vehicle.
