Children take part in special day of athletics

Around 150 visually impaired children are taking part in a special day of athletics in Sheffield. The event, run by Action for Blind People, is the UK's biggest athletics event for blind and partially sighted children.

Representing towns and cities from across the North of England and the Midlands, the children will take part in a variety of track and field activities - including long jump, javelin and sprint events - at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.
