Saturday's demonstration in Bradford went ahead with only a handful of arrests for minor public order offences. But police put that down to a massive one million pound operation.
Now the Police and Crime Commissioner wants chief constables to be able to ban such events to cut the rising cost of policing them. Sally Simpson reports.
