Two adults and two children have been killed in a house fire near Chesterfield in Derbyshire. The blaze broke out at 5am today at a property in Williamthorpe Road, North Wingfield. A third child is currently in hospital being treated for minor injuries.
Police said a joint investigation into the cause of the fire will be carried out by the police and fire service. Williamthorpe Road will be closed for several hours and local diversions are in operation. Anyone who can help the inquiry should contact the police on 101.
