Police have arrested a 29-year-old man after a raid in Gipton today on suspicion of offences under the Dangerous Dogs Act.
Three pit bull type dogs were seized in the raid and tests will be carried out to determine their exact breed.
It is after a 33-year-old man was arrested on last Wednesday on suspicion of offences under the Dangerous Dogs Act following the death of Emma Bennett the previous day.
The investigation is continuing and I would again appeal for anyone with information to come forward and contact the investigation team. Anyone with information can contact detectives at West Yorkshire Police's Protective Services Department via 101.
