Police and Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue have joined in the search for an angler who is missing off the coast of Scarborough.
The man was reported missing last night when he failed to return home. His two dogs were found near the cliffs.
Officers and volunteers have moved the search inland, along cliff top paths and towards the village of Burniston.
Lifeboat crews were stood down earlier this morning.
