Over two thousand people turned out today for a demonstration in York over the governments austerity cuts.
The march was planned to coincide with the Lib Dem spring conference which is being held this weekend in the city. The TUC, who organised the march and rally, were protesting over Government's policies which they claim have made life harder for working people.
