Easter Bank Holiday travellers in North Derbyshire are still facing long delays on the M1 after two lorries collided.
It happened on the southbound carriageway, between junction 29, at Chesterfield, and junction 28, at Alfreton, at about 5am this morning.
One driver has been airlifted to hospital with 'serious injuries'.
Police have closed off the stretch of road between the two junctions, with delays expected to last several hours.
There is a diversion in operation as police investigate what happened.
