A pupil at Corpus Christi Catholic College, where teacher Ann Maguire, was stabbed to death has been paying tribute to her.
She was a really good teacher. She was just brilliant at everything she did it just made sense.
We saw on the news in our last lesson that she had been pronounced dead. We all just broke down. It was just horrible
It is understood that Mrs Maguire started her career at the school doing work experience. She had recently celebrated her 40th anniversary teaching at the school. According to pupils she had dropped down to four days but was so dedicated she would often come in on her day off.
