The country's top cyclists are in Hull today, competing in one of the most elite road races in Britain. It comes just days after the roaring success of Yorkshire's Grand Depart.
The city is playing host to the British Cycling National Circuit Race Championships, which has seen many high profile riders topping the podium over the years, including former road world champion Mark Cavendish and Yorkshire's Lizzie Armitstead.
The championships are fiercely contested by the country’s top professional riders who will be battling it out for the honour of wearing the red, white and blue striped jersey of British national champion for the next 12 months. The women's race is scheduled to start at 6.15pm with the men's at 8.15.
