Prince William joins anniversary celebrations at RAF Coningsby

The Duke of Cambridge visits RAF Coningsby to join the 29th Squadron's 100th birthday celebrations. The Prince, who is patron of the squadron is watching a memorial parade as well as a Battle of Britain flypast.

Royal seal of approval for RAF Coningsby's centenary celebrations

One of Lincolnshire's most famous RAF stations got the Royal seal of approval today as it celebrated its 100th anniversary.

Prince William, took the Royal salute at the centenary parade of 29 squadron at RAF Coningsby, of which he is Honorary Air Commandant.

His Royal Highness also took to the skies, but in a different aircraft to that which had originally been planned as Kate Hemingway reports:
