Sheffield school pupil recognised as future technology leader

A school pupil from Sheffield has been recognised as a future leader in technology after winning the 'One to Watch Category' in the FDM Everywoman in Technology Awards. 15-year-old Nayana Dasgupta has inspired her fellow pupils by setting up a coding club at Sheffield High School.

I am so honoured to win this award, and surprised! I didn’t think I would even be shortlisted. I'd like to thank my parents and my family for being so supportive when I was young and interested in computers. I’d also like to thank Sheffield High School for introducing computer science into the curriculum and encouraging me and future pupils in this area.
