A week after the attack on the Finsbury Park Mosque in London, in which a man died, there's worrying evidence of a rise in Islamophobia in our region.
One man has spoken out after he was the victim of a horrifying racist attack in his own home.
Jamil Azam was among those who gathered in Batley this weekend to pay their respects to those caught up in the London attack. He says everyday Islamophobia is not taken seriously enough, and that more needs to be done to tackle hatred against Muslims. Hannah Miller reports.
