Huddersfield Royal Infirmary campaigners prepare to take case to High Court

Lawyers for thousands of campaigners who have spent a year and a half fighting plans to downgrade Huddersfield's hospital and shut its A E have prepared their case to go to the High Court.

Legal experts are poised to send a letter to the NHS Trust which runs the hospital spelling out that only a U turn would save the case from being put before a judge.
