Avtar Kolar and his wife Carole were found dead on January 11, having suffered blunt force trauma to the head.
A funeral service will beheld at Aston Parish Churchfollowed by a private burial.
West Midlands Police said the couple, from Handsworth Wood in Birmingham, were attacked with a lump hammer.
Their bodies were discovered by their policeman son.
Lithuanian Rimvydas Liorancas was charged with murdering the couple but was found hanged while on remand at HMP Woodhill in Milton Keynes on January 28.
Labour MP Khalid Mahmood, whose constituency includes the Kolars' home, asked the Home Office at the start of February to investigate claims that Liorancas entered Britain without a passport after previously being deported.
Pledging to continue to fight for answers about how Liorancas was allowed into Britain, Mr Mahmood, who represents Birmingham Perry Barr, said: "Quite simply, the Kolars would not have been killed if border officials had done their jobs properly.
"I am not going to leave the matter here.
"I am demanding that an inquiry be set up to investigate how, and why, this man got into Britain."
West Midlands Police is continuing to investigate the Kolars' deaths on behalf of the coroner, but the force has said that it is not looking for other suspects.
