Police and fire officers are touring local schools showing graphic road safety videos to sixth-formers.
They have used shock tactics on young drivers at a school in Market Harborough- which has one of the worst road casualty records in the East Midlands.
Last year, car crashes in the area around Market Harborough claimed sixteen lives and A former pupil died in a car crash in January.
The students were asked watch mobile phone footage of teenagers fooling around in a car at the moment it crashes and kills a fourteen year old girl.
The presentation at Robert Smyth Academy was so harrowing, two pupils had to leave the hall.
