An event to mark theopening of the new Victoria Leisure Centre in Nottingham is being held today.
£9 million pounds has been spent on the centre in Sneinton, which opened earlier this month.
Members of the public can come along today and take part in a number of free activities including swimming and a Zumba class.
The revamped leisure centre includes a 25 metre swimming pool with a separate teaching pool and children's fun splash play area,a 70 station gym, fitness studio and a health suite with sauna and steam rooms.

Today’s event also marks the official launch of Game On, Nottingham City Council's programme of activities to celebrate the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, running from March to November 2012.
