Three people, including a father and his teenage son from the Midlands, have been killed in a collision between two vehicles on a bridge in Yorkshire.
It happened on a stretch of the A614 in EastCowick, near Goole at about 1.30pm yesterday (Saturday April 7).
A 46-year-old man and his 14-year-old son travelling in a Volkswagen Golf died at the scene. Police have confirmed they are from the West Midlands area.
The man’s wife and nine-year-old daughter were flown by helicopter to Leeds General Infirmary, where they remain in a critical condition in hospital.
A woman driving a Volvo car, aged 70 and from York also died at the scene.
