Work has begun on the transformation of Stourbridge in the Black Country.
Most shoppers in Stourbridge these days would agree that the town has seen better days.
Along the high street, many storeholders have moved out and household names have been replaced by charity shops.
But now, after waiting for several years, work is under way to redevelop The Crown Centre.
It was only built in the mid-80s, but it was felt that the only way to encourage more people to visit Stourbridge was to demolish it.
