Over 300 people gathered at a community fundraising event in Derby to remember six children who died in a house fire in Derby.
Jade Philpott, 10, and brothers John, 9, Jack, 8, Jessie, six and Jayden, 5 died in the Victory Road blaze on May 11th, Duwayne, 13 died three days later in hospital.
Parents Mick and Mairead Philpott have been charged with the murders of the children.
The event was organised by Osmaston Community Association of Residents who have so far raised over £11,000 to help pay for the funerals.
The organisers had hoped as many as 1,600 people would be in attendance at yesterday's event to form a 'mile support', however the 300 well-wishers that did turn out gathered outside the house in Allenton, before joining local priest Alan Burbidge in nearby Osmaston Park to pay their respects.
The 300 fundraisers then returned to Victory Road, where the children's home was, and formed a human chain.
A collection was made and all funds raised will go towards funeral costs for the six Philpott children.
