Stoke City footballer Andrew Hall has been charged with the murder of a 15-year-old girl who was stabbed at a house last weekend.
Eighteen-year-old Hall, who plays for Stoke City academy, is accused of killing Megan-Leigh Peat, from Westoning in Bedfordshire.
She died from stab wounds at a house in Ailesbury Road in Ampthill, Bedfordshire at about 1.30am on Saturday.
A Bedfordshire police spokeswoman said that on the direction of the Crown Prosecution Service Hall, of Robin Close in Flitwick, Beds, had been charged with Miss Peat's murder.
