The bodies of six children killed in an arson attack at their home in Derby have been released by the coroner today.

The parents are currently in custody charged with the murder of the children, who died in the blaze in Allenton, Derby on May 11.

It is thought both parents have applied to authorities for compassionate leave to attend the children's funerals, though due to the couples safety and security it is not yet known whether they will be allowed.

Prior to the parents' arrests, it is believed the parents were arranging for the funerals to take place at Derby Cathedral.
